Tales of the Sea: Keepers of the Light in the Age of Sail
Cynthia Elder will discuss her historical fiction series, "Tales of the Sea," inspired by original letters, ship's logs and journals from a seafaring family from Cape Cod in the 1800s. This presentation will focus on the lighthouse keepers who watched over sailors during the Age of Sail.

About the event
Presented by the Friends of the Pomham Rocks Lighthouse.
Cynthia Elder will discuss her historical fiction series, "Tales of the Sea," inspired by original letters, ship's logs and journals from a seafaring family from Cape Cod in the 1800s. She will draw parallels between the Pomham Rocks Lighthouse and its keepers and the generations of keepers who served at the Sandy Neck Lighthouse, who figure prominently in her novels.
The event will begin with a reception at 6 pm. The program will begin at 6:30 pm.
Her books will be available for signing and purchase.
